Leilei Wu is a contemporary artist currently living and working in Milan, Italy. Her practice unfolds across media such as 3D-printed objects, llation, experimental images, web art, and AI research. Leilei Wu draws inspiration both from organic shapes and synthetic materials to develop a unique hybrid-form sculptural language and to disturb the physical, social, computational, and metaphysical planes of reality through a playful practice and a speculative, science-fictional approach. Her work questions new technologies of production, reproduction and distribution, with an emphasis on exploring the relationship between art and technology, ecology, mythology and poetic thinking.
