“Li Beirut” which in Arabic translates to “For Beirut”, is the title of a very famous song, an ode to Beirut, by the iconic Lebanese singer Fairuz. Li Beirut is a fundraising event taking place on February 15th at Officina Opera in Milan, an auction of artworks, photographs, jewelry and more — all of which were generously donated by 40+ artists. All the proceeds from Li Beirut will be donated to Foodblessed, an NGO that has been helping Lebanon’s most vulnerable communities since 2012 by providing meals and reducing food waste.Our donation will help support FoodBlessed on the ground to provide life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable, helping provide immediate relief, including food, water, hygiene products, as well as blankets and mattresses for sleeping.
